Come and visit our highly experienced team of thread vein treatment specialists at our thread vein removal clinic in Liverpool. Thread veins, also known as spider veins, are small, dilated blood vessels that appear close to the surface of the skin. They are typically red, blue, or purple in colour and often form a spider web like pattern.
These veins are most commonly found on the face and legs but they can appear on other parts of the body as well. Thread veins are caused by the enlargement of small blood vessels due to various factors, including genetics, age, hormonal changes, sun exposure and skin conditions.
Our team can assess your spider veins, help you to understand the causes in your particular case and recommend an appropriate solution for removing them.
At Dr Newmans Clinic, Liverpool, our doctors use Thermocoagulation (Veinwave) to treat a range of thread vein conditions. When you visit us for your primary appointment, we will assess your skin and discuss your treatment plan including information around the number of treatments required to treat your particular case.
The biggest areas of concern are facial (including nose veins) and leg thread veins, as well as any associated redness and rosacea. If you’re in Liverpool and searching for the best place to find treatment, please contact our Dr Newmans Clinic office.

Removing thread veins on the face can sometimes demand a more holistic approach to skincare. Patients that are also dealing with other common skin conditions such as rosacea, acne, redness, or hyperpigmentation will often benefit from additional skincare interventions to enhance the results of their thread vein removal – leading to lasting results.
At Dr Newmans Clinic, we prioritise your skin in our advanced primary appointments that are designed to provide you with a holistic treatment plan.
During your appointment, you’ll receive a diagnostic assessment of your skin by one of our expert doctors. We’ll then discuss a skincare routine using the transformative Obagi products and devise a treatment plan to support your journey towards a vein-free life.
